Sometimes holidays don’t really feel like holidays when you’re rushing around visiting people. Going home to Toronto, for instance, is rarely relaxing. Spend time with parents, lunches with friends, see naturopath, rush around, rush around. There’s something to be said for going somewhere and doing very little.
The London leg of the journey, while delightful, had that crazy feeling about it. Lots of friends to see. The Scottish highland part? So far seems pretty darn laid back. I just hope the weather gets better soon.
A few more photos from London. It was an absolute blast. Nothing like seeing friends and family and enjoying that feeling of hey — some things never do change.
